Po'lympics contest - 1998

1998 Po'lympics Contestants

T

hings were heating up fast on the last night of the Po'lympics Championships in balmy Minneapolis, Minnesota. This night had been reserved for the Final competition's that were narrowed down from just under 30 sexy contestants. At stake on this evening, were the coveted Gold, Silver and Bronze medals for pole performance greatness. Spectator's huddled through the doors of the stunning Deja Vu of Minneapolis in search of a front row seat for a grueling competition that was sure to rock the Twin Cities off of its foundation. Each patron that braved the already packed show club knew that they would become witness to history in the making. Sure there were other pageant's on the circuit to attend, but this one was not about beauty and charm, it was about athletic ability, well seasoned pole performance and high flying, acrobatic eroticism, that is has yet to be matched. Aerial assaults become wilder every year, enhanced by well-polished theme sets and stage presence that had been fine-tuned all year.

T

he competition's entertainers jet in from Deja Vu's all across the country to represent their home club's in hope of bringing home the Gold. But on this particular evening only one performer would survive the evenings competition and judges score sheets to emerge as the Po'lympicS champion for 1998. Night one displayed a wide array of talents that tormented the standing room only crowd of spectators. The Semifinals spawned ten voluptuous finalists. Each contestant bombarded the Deja Vu of Minneapolis' vast main stage atop one of three, twenty-two foot brass poles in what is becoming one of the most death-defying, unrelenting competitions in the world!

ackstage at the Finals, performers readied for their shows. The night had finally arrived that many had anticipated and dreamed about all year. It was time to stand back and take a deep breath, and push it to the limit for just one more strenuous evening. Each girl knew that she was up against nine other regional champion's that were out for blood, and that it would take every ounce of her energy and grace to walk away a winner. Contestant's who did not crack the Finals cheerfully lent a hand to their fellow stage mates as they prepared for their last attempt at bagging the top title. As the Top Ten filed up in line to hit the stage, they were launched by a hardy slap on the ass followed by: "But a nut!" The stripper's version of Hollywood's "Break a leg."

As the festivities got underway, and the house lights dimmed on the anxious audience, the first performer hit the pole with the crowd screaming. Show after show sizzled across the Minneapolis main stage with heels and heart's soaring. The captivated judges carefully scored each performance with amazement. The curvaceous Kali of the Bakersfield Deja Vu spun her way in the crowd's good graces with a stupendous USA show, while the naughty Nakita Kash performed an almost unbeatable Titanic show from the bow of her ship, complete with billowing smoke stack. Tyler Rae of the Deja Vu Little Darlings of Las Vegas blazed the shiny brass poles with an uncanny speed demon rendition, while the radiant Roxanne of the Deja Vu Centerfolds of San Francisco performed a fantastic Alcatraz show.

he luscious dare devil, Darrion moved across the poles like a cat on a roof top, cool and calculated, as Lisa Marie of the Deja Vu of Lake Station, In. out did herself once again with a fabulous "Roaming Hands" show. The insatiable Sierra of the Deja Vu Ypsilanti, Mi produced uncounted pole aerial's for skyrocketing score's, while the petite Autumn of the Minneapolis home club had the entire club's attention with a superior Peter Pan skit. The lovely Zoe of the Deja Vu of Ypsilanti, Mi. performed yet another smashing show with all judges glued to her firm tan body. But as all good things must come to an end, it was time for the judge's to enter the incredible task of picking a Po'lympics winner for 1998.
