The Gentlemen’s Club Owner Expo 20th Year Reunion - Las Vegas

Las Vegas played host once again to the Exotic Dancer’s Gentlemen’s Club Owner Expo on August 26-29th. Celebrating its 20th Year Anniversary in operation, the massive event moved back to the luxurious Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino by popular demand. This year was deemed the 20th year reunion of past Expo visitors and friends, and invited all of the industry’s royalty to return and rekindle the many joyous memories of years gone by and party!
The Sin City locale has always been the perfect spot for the vast Trade Show, and action packed Awards Show. It also included countless venues around the city tailored for industry hierarchy, entertainers, vendors and anything to do with adult night clubs. The 3 day event also boasts legal panels, roundtables and informative sessions from the adult industry’s most notable entrepreneurs, attorney’s, owners and investors.
Pre-Expo early bird events included hosted activities at the Erotic Heritage Museum and Deja Vu Showgirls, both located on Industrial Blvd, on the same property. The Miss Exotic United States pageant series kicked off on August 26th after the museum event came to a close. Deja Vu’s Showgirls was buzzing like a beehive to a standing room only crowd.
This year’s guest host and sexy MC was none other than the curvaceous Teri Weigel. In rare form this muff melee, Weigel wrangled a dozen or so promising entertainers which included guest stars in it’s mix. As the event kicked off and unraveled across the Showgirls spacious main stage, the cocktails were flowing like a river. A few local entertainers also jumped into the competition in hopes of bagging one of the industry’s most prestigious titles. In this heat, the ladies were competing for the pageant semi-final’s. On Tuesday August 28th, the Finals were held on the floor of the Trade Show inside Mandalay Bay.
High flying stage hi-jinx ran rampant across the steamy Expo stage. Show after uncompromising show scorched the audience’s sense’s. But as we all know, there could only be one top winner. In the 3rd runner-up spot we saw Fawn Marie from the Gallery show club in Desoto, IL, 2nd runner-up was none other than Missy from Aspen’s Scape in Columbus, Ohio and in the 1st runner-up slot was the lovely Kay representing Deja Vu Showgirls of Las Vegas, NV. And the winner of the 2012 Miss Exotic United States representing the Booby Bungalow in Elkton, TN was the stunning Justice.
Meanwhile...Over at the 2012 Exotic Dancer Awards Show...We saw Gia Nova take the prestigious Entertainer of the Year Award. Club Chain of the Year went to Deja Vu/Hustler Clubs And Overall Club went to Tootsies in Miami, Fl. General Manager of the Year went out to Mike Watkins of Rick’s Cabaret North in Fort Worth, TX. Petite Club of the Year Northwest went out to Dreamgirls of Seattle Washington. And last but not least, Petite Club of the Year Northeast was received by Little Darlings in Baltimore, MD What a night!
The last night in Las Vegas or “The Closing Night Party” was hosted By the breathtaking Larry Flynt’s Hustler Club over on Dean Martin Blvd. On this evening, the house was filled with a star-studded feature showcase that lasted until I passed out! Shay Lynn, Krystle Cummings and a whole lot more were on tap to blow up Larry’s joint.
As usual the house was packed with a steamy selection of Hustler Honey’s. Three floors of carnal cavalcades romped throughout Larry’s joint until dawn. The stages were pumping and girls were jumping! Finally a relaxing, pulsating party to say goodbye to friends and colleges until next year. So until next time, we bid you farewell. Start saving those dollars because one thing for sure, with several Hustler and Deja Vu properties in Las Vegas, this party will still be in full swing when you get back...Rock On! Salut’ - T.
